What can be done in treatment?
A stepwise treatment method is available. First of all, some lifestyle changes are recommended. Afterwards, drug treatment is recommended to patients if necessary. Since these medications may interact with heart medications, it is important to use them under physician supervision.
In cases where drug therapy cannot be used, treatment with drugs injected into the penis is tried. If all this treatment is insufficient or if the patient requests it, it is recommended to wear a prosthesis.
What Types of Prostheses Are There?
In general terms, there are three types of prostheses. These are malleable, two-piece and three-piece prostheses. They all have different advantages and disadvantages. You need to discuss this issue in detail with your doctor.
Because fitting a prosthesis is an irreversible process. It should be known that the three-piece prosthesis is the prosthesis that can best imitate normal erection. However, the cost of prosthetics is slightly higher than others.
