What is Penile Prosthesis?

Who Cannot Have Penile Prosthesis?
Penile prosthesis cannot be fitted to people who do not have erection problems, who are mentally unstable, or who do not have a partner with whom they can have regular intercourse.
Who Should Have Penile Prosthesis?
Patients of all ages who cannot achieve erection through normal means, who have not benefited from drug treatments, and who are willing to have a penile prosthesis are candidates for this surgery.
Which Type of Prosthesis is Suitable for You?
If you are young or feel young, if you want it to be close to nature, if you want it to be hardened when you want and deflated at other times, an inflatable prosthesis is definitely suitable for you.
If you say “it should be more economical, I already have this much life here, my penis should be ready for intercourse, my hands are shaking and I cannot use the inflatable pump”, the one-piece bendable prosthesis is definitely suitable for you. Still, you need to decide together with your spouse and doctor.
Can I Give Up After Prosthesis Surgery?
Prostheses are placed inside the penis. It is not visible from the outside. If you are satisfied with other treatment methods, do not consider prosthesis.
If you are not and you can never achieve an erection or if you and your partner are unhappy with inadequate erection, consider prosthesis. If you say you gave up and didn’t like it, there is no other form of treatment. Removal is simple.
